The Five Senses of Health and Safety

Over the next five Wednesdays, starting on 11th September, KSH Safety Services will be publishing a series of blog posts at www.kshsafety.com/news in the lead up to the Merseyside Business Expo on 11th October. These posts will have the theme of "The Five Senses of Health and Safety", as will our stand at the Expo.

Our senses - smell, hearing, taste, touch and sight - are important in all aspects of life.

They allow us to appreciate the finer things in life - seeing beautiful scenery, tasting good food, smelling sweet scented flowers, feeling soft furnishings, and hearing beautiful music. They are also a useful defence mechanism, alerting us to danger, allowing us to act accordingly.

We shall be looking at each sense in turn, and looking at how each of them can help your business with its health and safety management. We will look at how you, as business managers, can use our senses to improve health and safety in your workplace. We shall also look at how good management can also help those who may lack one or more of the five senses, and how simple adaptations can help them.

Then, two days after the last of the five blog posts, on Friday 11th October 2019, 9am - 3pm, join us on our stand at the Merseyside Business Expo to find out more, and to find out about how KSH Safety Services can help your business.

We will be just one of about 150 local businesses exhibiting at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre that day. So why not join us as a visitor? We are expecting over 2,000 others to visit, making it an excellent opportunity to network and do business. Admission is free, and to register visit https://shoutexpo.com/merseyside/ today.

In the lead up to the Expo, follow us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to find out the latest information on the Expo and our stand.

We look forward to seeing you there.
