28 April is Workers’ Memorial Day

28 April every year is Workers’ Memorial Day - a chance to remember those who have died at work because their employer had not controlled the risks to their safety enough.

According to the TUC, more people die annually at work than they do in war across the world.

Activities will be taking part nationwide to commemorate the day. More information can be found at www.tuc.org.uk/workers-Memorial-Day-0

The International Labour Organisation is also using the 28 April to promote a safe and healthy future of work in its World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

If your business is doing any events in relation to these Days on 28 April we would love to hear about them.
