Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
the stockings were hung by the chimney with care
in the hope that St Nicholas soon would be there.
I sat in my chair, whisky in hand, thinking out loud
about what I could do to make me feel proud.
Mum in her kerchief and I in my cap
Had just settled down when all went a flap.
An idea did come, my head all a clatter
I sprang from my chair the peace I did shatter
Away to the laptop I flew with a flash
Then opened the browser and went with a dash
