We are pleased to announce that our consultant, Kevin Heywood, has achieved the National Safety Academy Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment at Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Level 10 with 41 credits. This is the English equivalent of a Level 6 Diploma.
The course took a lot of personal time over a period of around 18 months, a time extended slightly due to personal issues.

The qualification allows Kevin to competently undertake fire risk assessments in the future, and any business using Kevin for such assessments can rest assured that he has undertaken thorough training and assessment to act competently to assist any Responsible Person to undertake their legal duties under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, or its Scottish equivalents, and under other legislative changes relating to fire safety, brought in as a result of the Grenfell Tower fire, nine years ago this weekend.
Kevin stated upon receiving this Diploma: “It is with great pride that I can announce that I have today achieved this National Safety Academy Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment. I wish to thank everyone who has supported me through this. If any business wishes me to complete a fire risk assessment for them, please get in touch”
