This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and this year the motto is Be Kind. For many, the stigma of telling someone about their mental health is huge, yet so many people suffer, often in silence.
Just by being kind to each other, physically and on social media, can make a huge difference to a person's state of mind and wellbeing. Showing acts of kindness help your immune system, reduces stress, gives you energy and are good for your heart!
The power of being kind goes even further, it has been proven to slow ageing, improve relationships and it's contagious!
Kindness costs nothing. It could be running an errand for a neighbour, baking a cake, volunteering, or just helping someone else. So, although times are tough for many at the moment, treat others as you would wish to be treated, and go out of your way to be kind.
KSH Safety Services have two e-learning courses that may be of use to you during Mental Health Awareness Week. Click the name of the course below for more information or to buy, or buy both courses together for a £10 discount by clicking here.
