Be yourself through adversity

Last night I went to watch The Keeper. It is a film about former German POW Bert Trautmann who played goalkeeper for St. Helens Town AFC (who KSH Safety Services are proud to sponsor with a pitchside board) before signing for Manchester City, famously breaking his neck in the FA Cup Final.

And while the film (particularly the St Helens part - where on Earth is the moorland around St Helens??) has a lot of poetic license, it tells the remarkable story of a man who, through adversity, brought communities and nations together after the horrors of war.

A remarkable man and one we can all learn from. However hard life may be, whatever life throws at us, carry on and move forward. Be yourself and you will succeed.
