Fire Safety in the Workplace

January 8, 2018

With several high profile fires lately, have you reduced the fire risk to your premises?

Over the Christmas and New Year period, Britain has seen five high profile major fires, at London Zoo, Woburn Safari Park, Manchester's Northern Quarter, Liverpool Echo Arena, and Bristol University.

While fires remain relatively rare, these fires, together with the awful events at Grenfell Tower last summer, and a £1million fine last week for Poundstretcher, partly for blocking fire exit routes, remind us that fire safety management needs to be taken seriously. All businesses must comply with fire safety legislation.

If you need support with your fire management, KSH Safety Services can help. Whether it be with advice, writing a fire risk assessment, assisting with writing evacuation procedures, or via fire marshal training (classroom or online), we can provide the assistance you require.
